Multi-currency accounts
Updated on 18 June 2026
How Noryo manages your euro and foreign currency accounts, and how everything is consolidated into a unified view.
If your accounts are not all in the same currency, Noryo handles it for you. You can link a euro account and a foreign currency account, and still see a consistent total. This article explains which currencies are supported, how display conversion works, and how to choose the currency in which you want to view your figures.
Supported currencies
Noryo recognizes the main currencies used daily. An account detected in one of these currencies is synchronized normally, with its balance and transactions in its original currency.
- Euro (EUR)
- US dollar (USD)
- Pound sterling (GBP)
- Swiss franc (CHF)
- Canadian dollar (CAD)
- Japanese yen (JPY)
How display conversion works
To provide you with a clear net balance and readable charts, Noryo consolidates all your accounts into a single display currency. This is a display conversion: it standardizes the presentation of your figures and never affects the actual money in your accounts.
Choosing your display currency
The display currency is set in your preferences, under the Account section. You specify the currency in which you prefer to view your figures. The change applies everywhere: dashboard, analytics, and totals.
What you need to know about converted amounts
A converted amount is an estimate based on the current exchange rate. Since exchange rates fluctuate constantly, the displayed total for a foreign currency account may slightly vary from day to day, even without new transactions. This is normal and reflects the foreign exchange market.
