FAQ: the household
Updated on 18 June 2026
Quick answers to the most common questions about the multi-member household.
Hesitating about creating a household or joining one? Here are the answers to the questions we are asked most often.
How many people can a household have?
A household holds up to four people in total: the owner who creates it, plus three invited members.
What roles are available?
There are three roles: Owner (manages the household, invitations and roles), Adult (a trusted member who takes a full part) and Junior (a lighter experience, designed for a child or a teenager).
Do the other members see all my accounts?
No. Your personal tracking and your accounts stay private. Only what you choose to pool appears in the household's shared view.
How do I invite someone?
As the owner, you send an invitation by email from the Household space. The person receives a link to join the household and is given the role you chose.
Can you leave a household or remove a member?
Yes, at any time. A member can leave the household on their own, and the owner can remove a member. Everyone's personal data stays theirs.
What plan do you need for the household?
The multi-member Household is part of the Ultra plan. You can check your plan and upgrade it from the Subscription screen in the app.
Are the household and the succession vault the same thing?
No. The household organizes shared financial life in the present. The succession vault, for its part, arranges the passing on of read-only access to your documents after prolonged inactivity. The two can coexist.
