The security and encryption of your vault

Your documents are among the most sensitive things you own: ID papers, contracts, financial documents. Noryo's vault is designed to protect them at every step, from the moment you deposit them to the moment you view them. Here, in plain terms, is how your documents stay safe.

Your documents are encrypted

Every document you deposit is encrypted. In practice, its content is made unreadable to anyone who does not have the right to access it, and it stays that way while stored. You still see it normally on screen: encryption works in the background, with no effort on your part.

Hosted in Europe

Your documents are hosted in Europe, within a regulatory framework that protects your personal data. Your information is never resold. It serves only to provide the service you expect: keeping and finding your documents.

Who can access your documents

By default, you are the only person who can access your vault. Only two situations open access, and always under your control:

• Read-only sharing, when you decide yourself to show a document to someone.
• The Household or the succession vault, if you have chosen to share a view or to designate trusted contacts.

Strengthen your account security

Protecting your documents also depends on the security of your account. A few settings, available in your security settings, add an extra layer of protection.

What if I delete my account?

Deleting your account is permanent and confirmed by a code received by email. It results in the deletion of your data, including the documents in the vault. If you want to keep a copy, remember to export your documents first. You also have an export of all your data as part of your rights.
