Noryo in 5 minutes

Updated on 18 June 2026

A quick overview to understand the essentials and start using Noryo today.

Just arrived and want to get to the essentials? This article presents the main features of Noryo in just a few minutes. No need to master everything right away: follow the guide and explore at your own pace.

1. The dashboard, your starting point

When you open it, the dashboard gives you an overview of your situation at a glance: net balance, monthly expenses, savings, and active subscriptions. A period selector (7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 1 year) adjusts all the figures and graphs.

2. Connecting a bank

To have everything fill in automatically, connect a bank account. The connection is made via open banking: you validate directly on your bank's interface, without ever entering your credentials in Noryo. Access is read-only, so no payments can be made.

3. Your transactions and categories

Your transactions are imported and automatically categorized (housing, transport, food, etc.). You can recategorize a transaction, add a note, or create a rule so a merchant is always placed in the correct category in the future.

4. Subscriptions and budgets

Noryo detects your recurring subscriptions, alerts you to price increases, and spots duplicates paid across multiple banks. You can also set monthly budgets by category, with a progress bar and alerts as you approach the limit.

5. Nory, your assistant

Have a question about your expenses? Ask Nory in natural language. It analyzes your finances, identifies potential savings, and can suggest actions, such as creating a budget, always subject to your confirmation. Nory does not replace an advisor and never accesses your banking transactions.
