Bank connection security: your questions
Updated on 18 June 2026
Confidentiality, read-only access, storage: everything you need to know about the security of your banking data in Noryo.
Is my banking data secure?
Yes. The connection relies on the European open banking framework, your explicit consent, and read-only access. Your data is encrypted and protected.
Can Noryo make transfers or payments?
No, never. Access is strictly read-only. Noryo can view your transactions to organize them but cannot initiate any operations on your accounts.
What happens if I change my banking password?
Since your credentials are not known to Noryo, changing your banking password does not affect the connection. However, if your bank requires a new validation, simply reconnect the institution.
Is my data sold?
No. Your financial data is used solely to provide you with the service. It is not sold to third parties.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is hosted and processed within the European Union, in compliance with data protection regulations.
How can I revoke sharing at any time?
Disconnect the bank from your preferences: consent is immediately withdrawn, and synchronization stops.
