Recommended initial settings

Updated on 18 June 2026

Language, currency, first bank, security, and notifications: the settings to configure in just a few minutes to start off on the right foot.

Just a few minutes of settings are enough for Noryo to fit your habits. This guide walks you through the essentials: your display preferences, your first bank, your account security, and useful notifications.

  1. Choose the language and currency

Set the display language (French or English) and your display currency. Noryo automatically converts the display of accounts in foreign currencies.

  2. Set the theme

Go for the dark theme by default or the light theme, depending on your comfort.

  3. Connect a first bank

Link your main account through a secure bank connection. Confirmation is done on your bank's interface, read only.

  4. Enable security

Set up two factor authentication and keep your backup codes. On iPhone, enable unlock with Face ID or Touch ID.

  5. Choose your notifications

Enable the useful alerts (price increase, direct debit due date, monthly summary) and choose the email or push channel.

Secure your account

Two-factor authentication adds an extra verification step when logging in. Remember to store your backup codes in a safe place: they can help if you lose access to your second factor. You can also use a passkey and generate a recovery key, which is displayed only once.

In case of issues with bank connection

Your settings are now in place. Time to connect your accounts and see Noryo come to life.
