Add an asset to your wealth
Updated on 18 June 2026
Add an asset (real estate, investment, savings) to your wealth to track your net worth over time.
The Wealth module brings together everything you own and everything you owe in one place to calculate your net worth and track its evolution. This guide helps you add your first asset, step by step.
Your wealth consists of assets (real estate, investments, savings) and liabilities (loans, debts). Net worth is the difference between the two.
Open Wealth
Go to the Analytics section, then open Wealth.
Add an item
Choose to add an asset (what you own) or a liability (what you owe).
Choose the type
Select the kind of item: real estate, investment or savings for an asset, or loan and debt for a liability.
Enter the value
Give the item a name and its current estimated value.
Estimate appreciation
For an asset, you can enter an estimated annual appreciation to project its value over time.
Save
Confirm. Your net worth updates and the new item appears in the projection.
Tips for an accurate view
- Start with your most significant items: your home, your main investments, your outstanding loans.
- Stay realistic about estimated appreciation: a conservative assumption is better than an overly optimistic projection.
- Update values at least once a year, or after a major event.
- Do not forget liabilities: an accurate net worth takes your debts into account.
