FAQ: Compatible banks

Noryo connects to a very wide range of banks thanks to open banking. Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about your institution’s compatibility.

How can I tell if my bank is compatible?

The easiest way is to initiate a connection: when linking a bank, search for your institution by name in the list. Compatibility is broad and covers the vast majority of banks. If your bank appears in the search, it is supported.

I can’t find my bank in the list, what should I do?

Try different spellings or the full name of the institution, as some banks appear under a slightly different name. If you still can’t find it, contact us: we can let you know if it’s being added soon.

Can I connect a joint account?

Yes. A joint account is linked exactly like an individual account, and its transactions appear normally in Noryo. Verification is done using the login details of the account holder setting up the connection.

What about a business account?

Yes, business accounts can be linked just like personal accounts. This is useful for keeping an overview if you mix personal tracking with independent business activity.

Are foreign banks supported?

Many European banks are compatible, and Noryo supports multiple currencies (euro, US dollar, British pound, Swiss franc, Canadian dollar, Japanese yen). The best way to check is to search for your bank when connecting.

How many banks can I link?

This depends on your plan: the free plan allows you to link one bank, and higher-tier plans allow more. The exact number is shown on the Subscription screen in the app.

My bank was there before and has disappeared, is this normal?

If a previously linked bank is no longer updating, it’s most likely due to an expired consent, not a loss of compatibility. Simply reconnecting renews access and everything will resume.
