FAQ: synchronization and performance

Updated on 18 June 2026

Slow performance, missing transactions, first sync, balance discrepancies: quick answers.

A few short answers to the most common questions about synchronization speed and frequency. For a complete blockage, follow the dedicated troubleshooting guide at the bottom of the page.

My data is not updating fast enough, is this normal?

Synchronization happens automatically several times a day. If you want to see a transaction immediately, trigger a manual sync from your accounts screen. Keep in mind that your bank also makes information available at its own pace.

A recent transaction does not appear, where is it?

It’s most likely still pending on the bank’s side or hasn’t been shared by your institution yet. No action is needed: it will appear automatically at the next synchronization.

Why is the first synchronization so long?

Because it imports your transaction history, which represents much more data than a usual update. Let it finish without restarting it, the following syncs will be fast.

The displayed balance differs from my bank's, why?

This is almost always due to pending transactions, such as a card payment authorized but not yet fully debited. The discrepancy resolves itself once the transaction is settled by the bank.

The app is slow or does not load, what should I do?

First, check your internet connection, close and reopen the app, and make sure you’re using the latest version. These three steps resolve the majority of slowdowns.

  1. Check your connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
  2. Fully restart the app
  3. Update the app to the latest version

Nothing is synchronizing at all, is this serious?

No, it’s usually harmless. The most common case is an expired bank consent: simply reconnect the bank to renew access, and everything will resume. Follow the troubleshooting guide if needed.

Does my plan affect synchronization speed?

No. Synchronization frequency and speed are identical across all plans. Higher-tier plans expand what you can track, not the speed of updates.
