FAQ: joint and business accounts

Updated on 18 June 2026

Connecting a joint or business account, what co-holders can see, and how to separate personal from professional: the essential answers.

A shared two-person account, a business account, a mix of personal and professional: here are the answers to frequently asked questions about these account types in Noryo.

Can I connect a joint account?

Yes. A joint account connects like a standard current account, as long as you have access to it through your banking space. Its transactions and balance then appear in Noryo just like your other accounts.

Does the other holder see my Noryo?

No. Connecting a joint account in your Noryo gives no access to your app to the other holders. Everyone manages their own Noryo account on their side. The joint account can perfectly well be tracked in parallel by several people, each in their own space.

Can I connect a business account?

Yes, if your business account is accessible through open banking from your banking space. It then connects like a personal account and its transactions come through normally.

How to separate personal from professional?

By default, all your connected accounts feed an overall view. To isolate your professional activity, use the per-account or per-bank filters in the transaction list, which lets you analyse each account separately.

Does Noryo replace an accounting tool?

No. Noryo is a personal financial management app that helps you visualise and understand your accounts. It is not meant to replace accounting software or the support of a professional for your business obligations.

Do these accounts count towards my bank quota?

The quota is based on the number of connected banks, not the number of accounts. Several accounts at the same institution (current, joint, business, savings) therefore count as a single bank towards your plan.
