Configure your notifications and alerts
Updated on 18 June 2026
Choose the alerts you receive and through which channel: email or notification on your iPhone.
Noryo keeps you informed without ever drowning you in alerts. You decide what you receive and through which channel, type by type. This page explains each setting and how to adjust it so you stay on top of what matters, no more and no less.
The two available channels
Noryo can reach you by email and by push notification on iPhone. Email works everywhere, on web and on mobile. Push notifications arrive directly on your iPhone and require that you have accepted the system notification permission for Noryo.
The alert types
Each alert type is set independently. For example, you can receive price increases as a push but the monthly summary by email only.
| Alert type | What it is for | Possible channels |
|---|---|---|
| Price increase | Warn you when a subscription goes up | Email, push |
| Upcoming charge | Anticipate a charge to come | Email, push |
| Monthly summary | A review of your past month | Email, push |
| Account activity | Security (unusual login, etc.) | Email (always on) |
| Newsletter | Noryo news and tips | Email only |
Setting your notifications
Turning on push notifications on iPhone
To receive push notifications, your iPhone must allow Noryo to send them. This permission is requested at first launch. If you declined it, you can re-enable it in your iPhone settings, under Notifications, by selecting Noryo.
