Share and retrieve a document

Updated on 18 June 2026

Share a document in read-only mode, retrieve it instantly, and track its validity using badges.

Once your documents are in the vault, two needs often arise: sharing them with the right person and retrieving them quickly. This page shows you how to do both with ease, and how to read the validity badges.

Share a document in read-only mode

You can share a document in read-only mode: the person can view it but cannot modify or delete it. This is ideal for sending a certificate or an invoice without parting with the original.

Retrieve a document

Noryo recognizes the content of your documents. You can search by keyword (a name, a number present in the document), by type, or by folder, even if you’ve forgotten where you stored it.

 • Search for a word present in the document
 • Filter by folder or by type
 • Spot the documents to renew thanks to the badges
 • On iPhone, ask the assistant to find a document

Validity badges

For documents with an expiry date, a badge shows you their status. You can see at a glance what is up to date and what requires your attention, without having to open each file.

The deposit email address

Each vault has a personal deposit email address. By forwarding a document to this address, you add it directly to your vault without opening the app. Handy for storing an invoice received by email.

Send a document by emailUse your deposit address to file a document in a single forward.
