Invite a member to the household

Step-by-step guide to invite a loved one, assign them a role, and help them join your household.

Once your household is created, you can invite up to three people to reach a total of four members. The invitation is sent by email, and each person joins the household with the role you assign them. Here’s how to proceed.

  1. Open your household

    Go to the Household space from your account, as the owner.

  2. Start an invitation

    Choose to add a member and enter the person's email address.

  3. Choose the role

    Assign the Adult role for a trusted member, or Junior for a child or a teenager.

  4. Send the invitation

    The person receives an email with a link to join the household.

  5. The person joins the household

    They follow the link, sign in or create their account, and then appear among the members.

After the invitation

  • The invited member keeps control of their own data
  • You can change roles or remove a member at any time
  • A member can also leave the household on their own
  • The shared view and the Notebooks become accessible to the household members
