Noryo: the essential questions
Updated on 18 June 2026
What Noryo is for, what it does for you, and what it does not do. The essentials, in plain terms.
A few clear answers to understand what Noryo is, what it can do for you, and its limits. Enough to start off on the right foot.
What is Noryo for, in one sentence?
Noryo brings your accounts together in one place to give you a clear view of your money, help you track your spending and subscriptions, budget, save, and decide with peace of mind.
Can Noryo touch my money?
No, never. Access to your banks is read only: Noryo displays your transactions but cannot pay, transfer, or move money. This is a guarantee of open banking governed by PSD2 regulation.
Who is Nory?
Nory is your built in financial assistant. You ask questions in natural language, it analyzes your spending, spots savings, and can suggest actions, for example creating a budget, always subject to your confirmation. Nory does not replace a financial advisor.
Are my finances analyzed by an AI?
Noryo uses an analysis engine to categorize your transactions, detect your subscriptions, and feed Nory. You stay in control: the assistant's permissions are set by area, with reading enabled and writing disabled by default.
Does Noryo help me cancel a subscription?
Noryo detects your subscriptions, alerts you to price increases, and spots duplicates. It guides you through canceling, but the final cancellation is done directly with the service concerned.
What happens if I upgrade to a higher plan?
You unlock more features: more connected banks, Notebooks, the Noryo Score, projections, and depending on the plan Wealth, the Tax Pack, or Household. The details and conditions are in the Subscription screen of the app.
How do I get help?
You have several channels: this help center, the Nory assistant in the app, the contact form, and bug reporting. Remember to include your support ID, visible in your profile, to speed up the handling.
