Creating and managing your household

Bring the members of your household together for a shared financial view, with roles suited to each person.

Updated 19 June 2026

The Household brings together up to four people (you and three loved ones) around a shared financial view, while leaving each person in control of their data. It is the ideal place to track a couple's budget, organize a family's finances or share an overview with a trusted person. This page explains how to create it, invite your loved ones and manage it day to day.

An Ultra feature

The multi-member Household is part of the Ultra plan. You can view the details and activate it from the Subscription screen in the app.

What the Household is for

The Household creates a shared space where several members see a common view of the home's finances, without merging their accounts. Each member decides what they pool and keeps full control of their own data. This approach preserves everyone's independence while making collective organization easier.

  • Track the home's shared expenses together
  • Coordinate shared savings goals (holidays, a property project)
  • Give a loved one a clear view of the situation without handing over your credentials
  • Calmly prepare for joint management without mixing everything together

The Household roles

Each member has a role that determines what they can see and do. The role is chosen at the time of the invitation and can be changed later by the Owner.

The three roles

Owner
The person who created the Household. They invite and remove members, assign roles and manage the shared settings.
Adult
A member with a full view of the shared elements of the Household, who takes an active part in joint management.
Junior
A profile suited to younger members, with a deliberately simplified and limited view, ideal for introducing a teenager to managing money.
To go further

The details of what each role sees and can change, as well as everyone's privacy, are described in the article dedicated to Household roles and permissions.

Creating your Household and inviting your loved ones

  1. Open the Household section

From your Noryo space, go to the Household section. You are automatically its Owner.

  2. Invite a member

Enter the email address of the person to invite and choose their role (Adult or Junior).

  3. The person accepts

Your loved one receives an invitation by email and joins the Household with their own Noryo account.

  4. Adjust if needed

At any time, you can change a role or remove a member.

Four members at most

A Household holds up to four people: you, the Owner, and three invited loved ones.

Privacy and control of your data

Joining a Household does not mean revealing everything. Each member keeps full control of their information and chooses what they make visible. Your data stays encrypted and hosted in Europe, and no one can carry out a banking transaction on your behalf: Noryo stays read-only on accounts.

Frequently asked questions about the Household

Can my loved ones see all my transactions?

No. You keep control of what you share. The Household gives a shared view of the elements you pool, not full access to your personal accounts.

Can I leave a Household?

Yes. You can leave a Household at any time, and the Owner can remove a member. Your personal data stays yours.

What happens to the Household if the Owner leaves?

The Household is managed by its Owner. Remember to organize the handover before a departure so the shared view is not interrupted.

The Household does not replace an official process

The Household is a tool for everyday organization. For passing on assets or legal steps, refer to the succession vault and to a professional.
