Household Roles and Permissions
Owner, Adult, Junior: who sees what, who can do what, and how each person's privacy is preserved.
In a Noryo Household, each member has a role that defines what they can see and do. This simple system allows for a shared view while respecting each person's autonomy and privacy. This page details the three roles, what they allow, and how each member's confidentiality is preserved.
The multi-member Household is part of the Ultra plan. You can view the details and activate it from the Subscription screen in the app.
The three roles at a glance
A Household can have up to four members: one Owner and up to three relatives. Each relative is invited with the role of Adult or Junior. The Owner can change these roles at any time.
Owner, Adult, Junior
- Owner
- The member who created the Household. They invite and remove the other members, assign roles and manage the shared settings of the Household.
- Adult
- A trusted member with a full view of the shared elements and the ability to take an active part in joint management.
- Junior
- A simplified profile for younger members, with a limited and suited view, perfect for learning to manage money gently.
Who can do what
The table below summarizes the main capabilities of each role within the Household.

Each person's privacy
Joining a Household doesn’t mean revealing everything. The founding principle is simple: everyone remains the owner of their data and chooses what they share. The role determines access to the shared view, not a full right to view others' personal accounts.
- Each member decides what they share with the Household
- No one can carry out a banking transaction on behalf of another: Noryo stays read-only
- Your data stays encrypted and hosted in Europe
- A member can leave the Household, and their personal data goes with them
The Junior profile offers a deliberately simplified view. It’s a great way to introduce a teenager to money management without exposing them to the entire household’s finances.
Changing a role or removing a member
Open the Household section
As the Owner, go to the list of members.
Select a member
Choose the person whose role you want to change or whom you want to remove.
Adjust the role or remove
Move a member from Adult to Junior, or remove them from the Household. The change takes effect immediately.
Assigning roles and removing members are reserved for the Owner. Consider organizing the transition if the Owner needs to leave the Household.
Frequently asked questions
Can an Adult see my personal accounts in detail?
No. The Adult role gives access to the Household shared view, not to all of your personal accounts. You stay in control of what you share.
Can I have several Owners?
The Household has a single Owner, the one who created it. The other members are Adults or Juniors.
Can the Junior role be changed to Adult?
Yes. The Owner can change a role at any time, for example as a teenager grows up.
