Dashboard and analytics: frequently asked questions

Updated on 18 June 2026

Answers to the most common questions about the dashboard, the Noryo Score, charts, and exports.

Here are the questions we are most frequently asked about the dashboard and analytics. If you can't find your answer, the Nory assistant and the contact form are here to help.

Why does the displayed balance differ from my bank's?

This discrepancy most often comes from transactions still pending validation on the bank's side. Once these transactions are confirmed, the balance aligns with your bank's. A manual synchronization can speed up the update.

How often is the dashboard updated?

Your accounts synchronize automatically several times a day. You can also initiate a manual synchronization at any time. The freshness of the data partly depends on the bank in question.

What does my Noryo Score mean, and how can I improve it?

The Noryo Score is a rating out of 100 that summarizes your financial health based on five dimensions: reserve, savings rate, stability, diversification, and anti-drift. It is recalculated daily. To improve it, build an emergency savings fund, set goals, and establish budgets by category.

What is the difference between cash flow and spending breakdown?

Cash flow compares what comes in and what goes out, month by month, to see if you are saving. The spending breakdown categorizes your outgoings to show where your money is going. The two complement each other: one measures balance, the other destination.

What period do my charts cover?

A selector at the top of the dashboard lets you choose the analyzed window, for example, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, or 1 year. Change the period to switch from a recent view to an overview.

Can I compare my year to the previous year?

Yes. Noryo offers a year-over-year comparison, with the previous year, and more years back depending on your plan. This is ideal for measuring your progress over time.

How can I export my data and reports?

You can export your transactions and reports for the date range of your choice. The available formats depend on your plan, from simple spreadsheets to formatted documents and import formats for other software.

Is the dashboard the same on the web and on iPhone?

You will find the same metrics and charts on both platforms. The iOS app adds mobile-specific features, such as widgets, Apple Watch, and an annual retrospective, while the web offers a global search with a command palette.

Are my data secure?

Your data is encrypted and hosted in Europe, and the connection to your banks is read-only: no payments or transfers are possible from Noryo. Your data is never sold.
