Secure your account

Two-factor authentication, biometrics, recovery key, and session management: tools to protect your access.

Updated 19 June 2026

Beyond the protection provided by Noryo, you have several tools to lock down access to your account. Turning them on takes a few minutes and makes all the difference in case of an intrusion attempt. Here is how to build, layer by layer, a strong account.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second proof of identity at login. Even if someone knew your password, they could not get in without this second factor. It is the most important protection to turn on.

Keep your backup codes

When you turn on 2FA, Noryo gives you backup codes. Write them down somewhere safe and offline: they let you sign back in if you lose your second factor. They are shown only once.

Passkeys

Passkeys replace the password with authentication tied to your device and your biometrics (face or fingerprint). Nothing to memorise, nothing to type, and nothing that can be guessed or phished. It is both simpler and safer.

Biometric unlock on iPhone

On iPhone and iPad, you can require Face ID or Touch ID every time the app opens. If your phone falls into the wrong hands, your financial data stays inaccessible. This setting is specific to each device and is found in the app's security settings.

Compare the protections

Combine several protections for a truly strong account.

The recovery key

The recovery key is an ultimate backup code that lets you take back control of your account if needed. It is shown only once, when it is generated.

Keep your recovery key safe

Write it down and store it offline, separate from your devices. No one, not even the Noryo team, can regenerate it or remind you of it. Losing it may deprive you of a last resort.

Monitor your sessions and logins

Noryo lets you see where your account is signed in and take back control with one gesture. You stay in charge of your access at all times.

  • Active sessions: the list of devices currently signed in to your account.
  • Sign out the other devices: close every session except the one you are using, in one tap.
  • Unusual login alerts: an email warns you of a login that falls outside the ordinary.

The right reflex when in doubt

You receive a login alert you do not recognise
Change your password without delay (or check your Apple or Google account if you sign in that way), then sign out the other devices.
You have lost a device
Sign out all the other sessions from a trusted device, which immediately cuts off access on the lost device.
You want to tidy up
Regularly review your active sessions and close the ones you no longer use.

All these protections are available todayOperational

Find them in the Account section, security area of the app.

The winning combination

Turn on two-factor authentication, add a passkey and, on iPhone, require Face ID on opening. With these three protections, your account is among the best locked down.
