Bank data delays and freshness
Updated on 19 June 2026
How often your transactions come in, why some arrive with a delay, and how to get the most up-to-date view of your accounts.
Noryo reads your accounts using the secure bank connection of open banking. Your transactions therefore don't appear in real time to the second, but on a regular rhythm. This page explains that rhythm, what can slow it down, and how to force an update when you need it.
How often your accounts update
Your connected accounts are refreshed automatically several times a day. Between two automatic updates, you can run a manual sync at any time to immediately retrieve the latest transactions available from your bank.
- Automatic synchronization: triggered several times a day in the background.
- Manual synchronization: on your request, to get the most recent view right away.
- First synchronization: a little longer, the time it takes to retrieve your history.
Why a transaction takes time to appear
Several steps follow one another between the moment you pay and the moment the transaction appears, final, in Noryo. Understanding these states avoids a lot of worry about a balance that moves.
Force an immediate update
Open your accounts
Go to the view of your connected accounts.
Run the manual sync
Trigger the update. On iPhone, a live activity shows you the progress during the operation.
Wait a few moments
The latest transactions available on the bank's side come in and appear.
What can slow down freshness
Security and access revocationHow access stays safe and how to cut it off at any time.
