Manage your storage space

Understand your vault space, track what you have left, declutter, and learn how to get more room depending on your plan.
Your vault has storage space whose size depends on your plan. Good news: properly scanned documents take up little room, and most users never come close to the limit. Here is how to track your space, keep it light, and expand it if needed.
How much space do I have?
The available space increases with your plan. The free plan gives you enough to keep your essential documents, and higher plans clearly expand this space to calmly archive years of papers.
Track the space used
From your vault, you can see the room already taken and the room you have left. Take a look from time to time, especially if you scan many documents at once, for example at tax-return time.
Free up room
If your vault is filling up, a few simple steps free up space without losing anything important.
The size limit per file
Each file you add must not exceed a certain size. This limit very generously covers an everyday document: a photo of a paper or a PDF of a few pages goes through without difficulty. If an import is refused due to size, lower the photo resolution or split an oversized PDF into several documents.
Need more space
If archiving documents matters to you, a higher plan clearly increases the available space. The details of the plans and their associated space are on the Subscription screen of the app.
Organize your documents and foldersA well-organized vault stays lighter and clearer.
