FAQ: common errors

Updated on 19 June 2026

The most frequent error messages and blocking situations, along with the steps to follow for each.

Here are the situations that come up most often and the right reaction for each. Remember to always test with the latest version of the app before going further.

"Unable to log in" or password refused

First check that you're using the method chosen at sign-up: an account created with Apple or Google has no password to enter. For an account created by email, use the "forgot password" link to reset it.

"Synchronization failed" or frozen accounts

This message almost always means that the access permission to your bank needs to be renewed. For security reasons, this consent expires after a certain time. Reconnect the bank in question to restart the updates.

  1. First run a manual sync to rule out a simple delay.
  2. If the failure persists, reconnect the bank from your account list.
  3. Validate the access again on your bank's interface.

A balance or amount looks incorrect

A gap most often comes from transactions still pending on the bank's side: they appear once validated and the balance readjusts on its own. If an amount is filed under the wrong category, you can recategorize it, and even create a rule for future payments from the same merchant.

I'm not receiving emails from Noryo

First look in your spam or junk folder, and add our address to your contacts. Also check that the address saved in your profile is the right one. Security emails, for their part, are always sent.

I'm not receiving notifications on iPhone

Push notifications require a system permission. Open your iPhone settings, find the app, and enable notifications. Then check, in the app's preferences, that the notification type you want is enabled.

The app is slow or won't load

Check your connection, close and reopen the app, and install the latest update. The very first sync after adding a bank can take a little longer, which is normal.
