FAQ: vault and storage
Updated on 18 June 2026
Quick answers to the most common questions about vault security, available space, sharing, and deletion.
Here are the answers to the questions we are asked most often about the vault and its storage space.
Are my documents really safe?
Yes. Your documents are encrypted and hosted in Europe, within a protective regulatory framework. By default, you are the only person who can access them, and your data is never resold.
How much space do I have in my vault?
The space depends on your plan and increases with higher plans. The exact amount is shown on the Subscription screen of the app, which remains the up-to-date reference.
What happens when my vault is full?
Your existing documents remain accessible, but you cannot add new ones until you free up space or choose a higher plan.
- Spot and remove duplicates.
- Delete documents that are no longer useful, after exporting them if needed.
- Move to a higher plan to expand your space.
Who can see a document I share?
Only the people you give access to, and only in read-only mode. You decide to share, and you keep the ability to reverse that choice.
Are my documents available on all my devices?
Yes. Your documents and their filing are synced between the web and the iOS app, as long as you are signed in to the same account.
What happens to my documents if I delete my account?
Deleting your account is permanent and removes your data, including the documents in the vault. Remember to export anything you want to keep before confirming the deletion.
How do I increase my storage space?
By choosing a higher plan from the Subscription screen of the app. Your space expands as soon as the new plan is active.
