Expiration reminders and validity badges

An expired ID card discovered the day before a trip, an out-of-date insurance certificate: these unpleasant surprises are easy to avoid. The vault shows validity badges on your documents to show you, at a glance, what is up to date and what needs your attention.

The three validity badges

Each document with an end date can display one of these badges. The color and the label tell you immediately where you stand.

Which documents are concerned

The badges are especially useful for documents that have a limited lifespan.

• ID papers: card, passport, license, residence permit.
• Insurance certificates valid for a given period.
• Contracts reaching their term or due for renewal.
• Documents valid for a limited time, such as certain proofs of address.

How to respond to a badge

Plan ahead rather than scramble

A well-kept vault saves you time and spares you last-minute errands. Get into the habit of glancing at the badges each month, for example when you check your dashboard. The Expiring soon documents are the ones to handle first.
