Updated on 18 June 2026
Answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Household, Shared Notebooks, and the inheritance vault.
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about the Household, Shared Notebooks, and the inheritance vault. For details on each feature, refer to the dedicated articles.
How many people can a Household accommodate?
A Household can accommodate up to four members: the Owner and three invited loved ones. Each loved one is assigned the role of Adult or Junior.
Can my loved ones see all my data in the Household?
No. Each member retains control over what they share. The Household provides a shared view of the items made available, not full access to your personal accounts. Your data remains encrypted and hosted in Europe.
Are the Household and inheritance vault included in all plans?
The multi-member Household and inheritance vault are part of the Ultra plan. Notebooks are included from the Premium plan onwards. You can check the details from the Subscription screen in the app.
How does Noryo calculate who owes what in a Notebook?
For each participant, Noryo compares what they have actually paid with their share of the relevant expenses. It then calculates a balance and suggests a minimal repayment plan: the shortest series of transfers that settles the Notebook.
Does Noryo handle repayments on my behalf?
No. Noryo calculates and displays the repayment plan, but transfers are made on your side through your bank. Noryo remains read-only on your accounts and never moves money.
Can the inheritance vault be triggered by mistake?
It is designed not to happen. Each login resets the inactivity counter, and several warnings are sent before any triggering. You can also modify or revoke the feature at any time.
Does the inheritance vault replace a will?
No. The inheritance vault facilitates read-only access to your documents for trusted contacts but does not replace a will or official procedures. For any legal questions, consult a professional.
