Nory's permissions and memory

Nory is useful because it knows your situation, but you always stay in command of what it can consult, change and remember. This page explains how the per-domain permissions and Nory's memory work, and how to set them so they match your comfort exactly.

The per-domain permissions

Nory's capabilities are split by domain (for example spending, budgets or goals). For each domain, two levels exist: reading, which allows Nory to consult and analyse, and writing, which allows it to propose changes. You enable or disable each one independently.

To give you consistent answers over time, Nory keeps a few useful pieces of context (for example a preference you have expressed to it). This memory stays light, and above all fully transparent: you can view and erase it whenever you wish.

• Nory only keeps a few pieces of context, not the entirety of your exchanges
• You can view what is memorised at any time
• You can erase one item or the whole memory in a single gesture

Privacy

Your data stays encrypted and hosted in Europe, and it is never sold. Nory never accesses banking operations: it cannot pay, transfer or move money. And whatever happens, you keep the final say on what it consults, changes and remembers.
