How to re-secure my account after recovery

You have just regained access to your Noryo account. Good news: most of the security work has already been reset automatically. Here is what changed and the few steps that put your account back on safe footing.

What Noryo has already done for you

A successful recovery does more than hand access back to you: it resets your security cleanly, with nothing to do on your side.

• All your open sessions were signed out: sign back in with your new factor (new email or new phone number).
• Your old email or phone number can no longer be used to sign in or to identify you.
• A security event was logged and a notification was sent to you.

Your steps to re-secure the account

1. <strong>Sign back in</strong> on your main device with the new factor, then check that everything is in order.
2. <strong>Generate new backup codes.</strong> They are single-use and kept off the device; the old ones are no longer worth anything.
3. <strong>Check your passkey.</strong> It is the strongest way to authenticate and to replace a factor later if needed.
4. <strong>Review your connected devices</strong> and remove any you do not recognise. Only a device that is still linked can approve a future recovery.
5. <strong>Check your Noryo Code</strong>, the app-specific code that acts as a fallback to Face ID on devices already linked to your account.
