Browse and filter your transactions

Find any transaction using the search, filters, and period selector.

Updated 19 June 2026

The transaction list gathers all your operations across all accounts. With search, filters, and the period selector, you can locate any expense in seconds. This article covers the tools at your disposal.

Where these transactions come from

Your transactions are automatically imported from your connected banks. You can also manually add cash or off-bank expenses for complete tracking.

Search for a transaction

The search works on multiple criteria. Type a merchant name, category, or amount to isolate what you're looking for. This is the most direct method when you know what to find.

  • By merchant: the name of the brand or shop.
  • By category: for example food or transport.
  • By amount: to find an expense of a specific value.

Filter the list

Filters refine what is displayed. You can narrow down by period, transaction type, account, and bank, and combine these criteria.

The quick filters

All
All of your transactions, without restriction.
Recurring
The expenses that come back regularly, like your subscriptions.
To categorise
The transactions that do not yet have a category and are awaiting your attention.
Anomalies
The transactions that fall outside the ordinary and deserve a look.

Choose a period

The period selector adjusts the time window being analyzed. It applies to both your dashboard and the transaction list.

The period selector applies to your views and your analyses.
PeriodWhat it is for
7 daysSee your very recent spending at a glance.
30 daysTrack the current month.
3 monthsSpot a trend over a quarter.
1 yearStep back and look at the year.

Transaction details

By opening a transaction, you access its details. You can change its category, add a note to remember the context, and attach a document, such as an invoice or receipt.

A balance that doesn’t match?

A discrepancy between the displayed balance and your bank’s balance often comes from pending transactions. They are updated once validated by the bank.

Export your transactions

You can export your transactions in CSV format and, depending on your plan, in other formats. Useful for archiving or processing your data elsewhere. Available formats depend on your plan.

Good to know

Why are some transactions duplicated across several banks?

If you pay for the same service from two accounts, Noryo can spot these duplicates on the subscriptions side. On the transactions side, each account shows its own transactions.

Can I see only one account?

Yes. The filter by account and by bank limits the list to the source of your choice.

Are foreign currency transactions converted?

Yes, their display is converted into your display currency to make reading easier.

Now that you know how to find a transaction, let’s see how categories organize all this.
