Frequently asked questions: transactions

Updated on 18 June 2026

A balance that does not add up, missing transactions, duplicates, cash spending: quick answers about your transactions.

Here are the answers to the most common questions about your transactions in Noryo.

Why does the displayed balance not match the one at my bank?

This gap most often comes from transactions still pending, that is not yet definitively confirmed by the bank. Once confirmed, they fall into line and the balance settles.

Some transactions do not appear, what should I do?

How fresh the data is depends on your bank, and the first sync can take longer. Launch a manual sync, and if the account stops updating, reconnect the bank to renew the consent.

How do I find a specific transaction?

Use the search by merchant, by category or by amount, then refine with the filters by period, type, account and bank. The to categorise filter also helps you find transactions waiting to be sorted.

How do I add a cash expense?

Cash or off-bank payments do not arrive automatically. Add them by hand and assign them a category so your tracking reflects all of your spending.

Can I attach a receipt to a transaction?

Yes. From a transaction's detail, you can add a note and link a document, for example an invoice or a receipt, so you keep everything in one place.

How do I export my transactions?

You can export your transactions in CSV format, and depending on your plan in other formats, by choosing a date range. The available formats depend on your plan; the details are in the app's Subscription screen.

I see the same subscription twice, why?

If you pay for the same service from two accounts, Noryo can spot this duplicate on the subscriptions side to help you sort things out. Each account otherwise keeps showing its own transactions.
