A clear overview to identify the source of an issue and resolve it yourself in just a few minutes.
Most issues encountered in Noryo can be resolved in a few minutes, provided you identify their origin. This page covers the most common situations (connection, synchronization, amounts and balances, unreceived emails, iPhone notifications), each with a decision tree leading you straight to the right solution. Understanding service status
The same symptom can have very different causes. Here’s the useful terminology to locate a problem and determine whether it’s on your end, the bank’s side, or due to an ongoing process.
I can’t log in
A Noryo account uses a single login method, the one chosen during sign-up: Apple, Google, or email and password. If login fails, it’s most often due to using a different method than the original one or needing to reset your password.
Synchronization seems stuck
Noryo updates your accounts automatically several times a day, and you can manually trigger synchronization at any time. The very first sync after logging in takes a little longer, this is normal. If nothing has changed for a while, the bank authorization has often expired.
An amount or balance appears incorrect
A discrepancy between the displayed balance and your bank’s balance almost always comes from pending transactions on the bank’s side, which resolve themselves. If it’s the categorization of an expense that seems wrong, you can correct it in one step.
I’m not receiving emails or notifications
Emails (reset, security alerts, summaries) may end up in spam. Push notifications, however, only arrive if you’ve allowed them at the system level on your iPhone and then enabled them by type in Noryo.
If the problem persists
If none of the solutions worked for your situation, Nory’s assistant answers common questions in seconds, and the contact form takes over for account-related requests. Providing your support ID significantly speeds up the process.
