Widgets, Apple Watch, and Siri shortcuts
Keep an eye on your finances without opening the app: widgets on the home screen, Apple Watch, and Siri shortcuts.
Noryo does not only live inside the app. On iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, widgets, Siri shortcuts and live displays give you the essentials of your finances without even opening Noryo. This page shows you everything available and how to make the most of it.
Home screen widgets
Place a Noryo widget on your home screen to keep a key indicator in view. At a glance, without breaking your focus, you follow what matters.
- Your net balance and its recent trend.
- Your spending in the current month.
- Your next subscriptions to pay.
- An overview of your wealth.
Press and hold on your home screen, tap the add button, search for Noryo, then choose the size and the information to display.
Lock screen widgets
Noryo also offers widgets for your iPhone lock screen. You can check a key figure in an instant, as soon as you wake your phone, without unlocking it.
Apple Watch
On your wrist, the Apple Watch app gives you access to your most useful information on the go.
On your Apple Watch
- Wealth
- An overview of your net worth, viewable at a glance on your wrist.
- Subscriptions
- Your next recurring charges so you do not forget anything.
- Wallet
- A summary of the state of your accounts, wherever you are.
Live tracking during synchronisation
When Noryo updates your accounts, you can follow the progress directly from the top of your iPhone screen, thanks to the live display built into iOS. You therefore know when the update is finished without staying in the app.
Siri shortcuts
You can ask Siri for certain information or trigger a Noryo action by voice, using shortcuts. This is handy for checking a figure while keeping your hands free.
Frequently asked questions
Do my widgets update on their own?
Yes. Widgets reflect your latest synced data and refresh regularly in the background.
Do widgets show my data to someone looking at my phone?
Widgets show the information you chose to display. If you prefer more discretion, select a less detailed widget or turn on biometric unlock to protect the app.
Why does a widget show an old value?
It is waiting for the next synchronisation. Open the app and start a manual sync to refresh it immediately.
Widgets, Apple Watch, the live display and Siri shortcuts are features of the iPhone and iPad app. On the web, you find the same information on the dashboard.
Protecting what is visible
Widgets are designed for speed, and you keep control of what they show. To protect the opening of the app itself, turn on Face ID or Touch ID in the security settings.
