Adding your assets and liabilities
List what you own and what you owe to get a net worth that reflects your real situation.
For your net worth to be accurate, Noryo needs to know your assets (what you own) and your liabilities (what you owe). This page shows you how to enter them, categorise them and keep them up to date, simply.
Wealth management is part of the Ultra plan. You can check your plan and upgrade to Ultra from the Subscription screen in the app.
Before you start
Gather the information you need: the estimated value of your possessions, the outstanding balance of your loans, the amounts of your investments. You do not need to be exhaustive from the start, you will fill things in over time.
Adding an asset
An asset is described by a name, a family (real estate, investments, savings) and a current value. You can also enter an estimated annual appreciation, the percentage change you anticipate each year, which is used to project how it evolves.
| Family | Examples | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
| Real estate | Home, rental property, land | Estimated value of the property |
| Investments | Holdings, securities, shares | Current market value |
| Savings | Savings accounts, reserves | Available balance |
Adding a liability
A liability represents an amount owed: a mortgage, a consumer loan, an outstanding debt. Enter the amount left to repay. Noryo subtracts it from your assets to calculate your net worth.
For a property financed by credit, add the asset (the value of the property) and the liability (the outstanding principal). Your net worth then reflects your real share.
Open Wealth

Add the item
Choose asset or liability, then its family.

Keeping your values up to date
The value of a possession changes over time. Update your amounts now and then, for example when you receive an investment statement or a new property valuation. An up to date wealth picture gives more useful projections.
- When you receive an annual investment statement
- After a significant loan repayment
- When you get a new valuation of your home
- When you buy or sell a possession
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to link my bank accounts?
Your connected accounts already feed your financial overview. Wealth is mainly for items that are not simple balances, such as a home or an investment.
How do I estimate the value of a property?
Rely on a recent valuation or a comparable market price. You will adjust the value when you have more precise information.
What should I do when a loan is repaid?
Set the liability to zero or delete it. Your net worth increases by the same amount.
Common mistakes to avoid
A few good habits keep your wealth picture accurate: do not count the same possession twice, keep the value of a possession separate from its loan, and stay cautious with estimated appreciation so you do not overstate your trajectory.
