What Nory can do for you

Concrete actions proposed by Nory, always subject to your confirmation, and what it will never do.

Updated 19 June 2026

Nory doesn’t just respond: it can also help you take action. When it spots an opportunity, it suggests a concrete step, such as creating a budget or recategorizing an expense. The principle remains the same: Nory proposes, you decide. This page details what Nory can do, how confirmations protect you, and what it will never do.

Actions Nory can propose

Based on your situation, Nory can suggest useful actions to better manage your finances. These proposals appear throughout your conversations or your Insights.

  • Create a budget for a category that is drifting
  • Create a savings goal suited to your pace
  • Recategorise a transaction that was misfiled
  • Highlight a duplicate subscription or a price increase worth reviewing

Three kinds of help

Answer
Nory explains, summarises and puts your situation in perspective.
Analyse
Nory spots trends, possible savings and duplicates.
Propose an action
Nory suggests a concrete step, always subject to your confirmation.

How confirmations work

No action by Nory is applied automatically. Each proposal is clearly presented to you, and you are the one who approves it. For sensitive actions, a double confirmation adds an extra layer of security.

  1. Nory proposes

An action is suggested, with its context and expected effect.

  2. You review

You see exactly what will be created or changed before deciding.

  3. You confirm

Nothing is applied until you have validated it. A sensitive action requires a double confirmation.

The more an action commits you, the stronger the confirmation.

You remain in control

You can also limit what Nory can propose using permissions by domain. Writing is disabled by default: Nory only suggests modifications for the domains you have opened.

Where Nory proposes its actions

Nory's proposals appear where they make sense: during a conversation when you bring up a topic, or next to an Insight when an analysis leads to a concrete step. You always remain free to accept it, change it or ignore it.

What Nory will never do

Some limitations are intentional and will not change, for your security.

  • Nory never accesses banking operations: it cannot pay, transfer or move money
  • Noryo stays read only on your accounts
  • Nory does not replace a financial, tax or legal adviser
  • Nory never applies an action without your confirmation
Guidelines, not investment recommendations

Nory’s analyses and proposals are decision-making aids. They do not constitute investment advice.

Frequently asked questions

Can I undo an action I have confirmed?

Yes. As with any change in Noryo, you can later adjust or delete a budget, a goal or a category.

Can Nory act without telling me?

No. Nory always proposes, and nothing is applied without your explicit validation.

How do I stop Nory from proposing changes?

Disable writing for the relevant domain in Nory's permissions. It can keep analysing without proposing any changes.
